Lifestyle influencer Njidekachukwu has sparked dating rumours involving Nigeria's senior men's national team captain Wilfred Ndidi after she was spotted wearing his No. 4 jersey during Nigeria's AFCON 2027 qualifying victory over Madagascar in Uyo.

The social media personality's appearance in Ndidi's jersey has fuelled speculation about a possible relationship between the pair, although neither has publicly confirmed that they are dating.

Ndidi is reported to have separated from his wife, Dinma Fortune, months ago. The midfielder married his longtime partner in traditional and white wedding ceremonies in May 2019.

Njidekachukwu also appeared to hint at the nature of her relationship with the Besiktas midfielder, suggesting that Ndidi would "bring the mountain down" for her.

The renewed speculation comes as Ndidi remains in the spotlight both on and off the pitch.

The Super Eagles captain has, however, been ruled out of Nigeria's international friendly against Russia.
