The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) rescheduled fixture between Rangers International and Nasarawa United has been moved to the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri.

The encounter, originally scheduled to be played at Rangers’ designated home venue, will now take place in Owerri following the unavailability of the initial venue. The change was confirmed ahead of the rescheduled league fixture. 

The adjustment means Rangers will have to play the encounter outside Enugu as the two clubs continue their NPFL campaigns.

Nasarawa United, meanwhile, will travel to Owerri for the rearranged fixture as both sides seek to maximise the opportunity to collect valuable league points.

The venue switch adds another logistical dimension to a fixture that has already been affected by the NPFL’s revised scheduling arrangements.

Rangers, one of Nigeria’s most established clubs, will be hoping to maintain their competitive momentum when they take on the Solid Miners at the Dan Anyiam Stadium.

For Nasarawa United, the encounter provides another opportunity to secure points on the road and strengthen their position in the early stages of the campaign.

The NPFL has continued to adjust its fixture calendar to accommodate venue availability and other domestic and continental football commitments.

The Rangers-Nasarawa United meeting is therefore expected to attract attention as both clubs look to make the most of the rearranged date.

The Dan Anyiam Stadium, one of the recognised football venues in the South-East, will now provide the setting for the contest.
