Super Falcons Star Rasheedat Ajibade Completes Move to PSG Féminines
French giants Paris Saint-Germain Féminines have completed the signing of Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade on a two-year contract, adding further firepower to their attacking options.
The 24-year-old Nigerian forward, widely regarded for her pace, creativity, and leadership, makes the switch to Paris after leaving Atlético Madrid Femenino at the end of her contract in June. Ajibade spent four seasons with the Spanish side, where she won the 2021 Spanish Super Cup and the 2023 Copa de la Reina.
At PSG, Ajibade will reunite with her international teammate Jennifer Echegini, who joined the club in 2024, creating an exciting Nigerian duo in the French capital. Their partnership is expected to provide PSG with both flair and attacking depth as the club continues its push for domestic dominance and Champions League glory.
Ajibade, who has been a key figure for Nigeria on the international stage, captained the Super Falcons to a record 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title in Morocco, where she was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player.
She now embarks on a new chapter of her career in France, one that promises to elevate her profile even further in women’s football.
