Top sports government dignitaries to grace NNL Monthly Awards

 

 

The much-anticipated PROSTAR/NNL Monthly Awards, in partnership with Sportlight Hub, is set to take center stage on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at the Viewpoint Hotel, Wuse Zone 7, Abuja, drawing top dignitaries from Nigeria’s sporting and political spheres.

 

In what promises to be a historic and star-studded occasion, a distinguished lineup of guests will grace the event as **Guests of Honour**, signaling a strong synergy between sports development and governmental support. Among the prominent names confirmed for attendance are:

 

* **Chief Sunday Akin Dare**, former Minister of Youth and Sports, now Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Media and Public Communications.

* **Bukola Olopade**, Director General of the National Sports Commission (NSC), recognized for his pivotal role in shaping sports policies nationwide.

* **Prince Anthony Adeyinka Adeboye**, Special Assistant to President Tinubu on Grassroots Sports, lauded for championing community-level sporting initiatives.

* **Major General Ibrahim Shuaibu (Rtd.)**, former Director of the NYSC, known for mobilizing youth through sports and leadership.
