BSAFCONQ: Emeka Ogbonna appreciates NFF, Kaduna Government and Beach Soccer stakeholders

Beyond his message to the Super Sand Eagles, Ogbonna expressed appreciation to individuals and institutions whose contributions have supported the growth and development of beach soccer in Nigeria.

He acknowledged the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for its continued support for sports development, specifically recognising Dr Emmanuel Ikpeme and the federation’s leadership for their contributions to Nigerian football and beach soccer.

He also commended the Kaduna State Government for its commitment and efforts towards providing an environment in which beach soccer can thrive.

Ogbonna reserved special appreciation for Mahmud Hadejia, president of the Association of Beach Soccer Clubs of Nigeria (ABSU) for his sacrifices and dedication to the sport.

He equally acknowledged Saraki, Engineer Nimrod and other stakeholders who have continued to invest their time, energy and resources in advancing beach soccer in the country.

“Your efforts are recognised, valued, and appreciated. May God continue to strengthen you and reward your sacrifices,” he said.

Concluding his message, Ogbonna wished the Nigerian contingent success in Sunday’s encounter, urging the players to approach the match as one united team and return home with the desired result.

“Go out there with confidence, determination, and the Nigerian fighting spirit. Play as one team, believe in yourselves, and return home with the victory we all desire.

“Go, Nigeria! Fly the green-white-green flag high! Let us qualify for Senegal and make our great nation proud,” he declared.

He ended with prayers for the Super Sand Eagles, the NFF and the Federal Republic of Nigeria, expressing confidence in the team’s ability to make the country proud in the race for a place at the 2026 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations.
