CAF appoints Rwandan officials for Super Falcons' Olympic Qualifiers against Comoros

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed a team of Rwandan match officials for the first-leg 2028 Olympic Games qualifying fixture between Nigeria’s Super Falcons and Comoros.

Rwandan referee Henriette Byukusenge will serve as the centre referee for the encounter.

She will be assisted by compatriots Sandrine Murangwa, who has been appointed first assistant referee, and Regine Mukayiranga, who will serve as the second assistant referee.

Another Rwandan, Aline Umutoni, has been designated as the fourth official.

Namibia’s Fransiska Katjaimo will serve as the referee assessor, while Burkina Faso’s Oumou Sy has been appointed as the match commissioner.

The first-leg encounter is scheduled for Friday at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne, Ogun State.

The Super Falcons and Comoros will meet again at the same venue next Tuesday for the return leg, with both teams battling for progression in the 2028 Olympic Games qualifying campaign.
