Davison Owumi mourns mother's death

 

Former Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Chairman and immediate past Chief Operating Officer (COO), Davidson Owumi, is mourning the death of his mother, Mrs Caroline Owumi.

 Mrs Owumi reportedly passed away on Thursday morning, according to family sources.

 Her death is a major loss for Owumi and his family as they come to terms with the passing of the former football administrator’s mother.

 Owumi, a former Nigerian international, has remained an influential figure in Nigerian football, having contributed to the game both as a player and administrator.

 He previously served as chairman of the NPFL before later taking on the role of the league’s Chief Operating Officer.
