Fidelis Ilechukwu Pens Contract Extension to Remain Enugu Rangers Head Coach Until 2026
Rangers International head coach Fidelis Ilechukwu has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the helm of the Flying Antelopes until the end of the 2026 season.
The agreement was sealed following a high-level meeting with the club’s General Manager and CEO, Amobi Ezeaku underscoring the club’s firm belief in his long-term vision.
Ilechukwu, famously known as "The Working One," guided Rangers to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title during the 2023/24 season, reinforcing his status as one of the league’s elite tacticians. His immediate focus now shifts to leading the Flying Antelopes into the Semi-final of the President Federation Cup, where they face Kwara United.
A win in that fixture will take the Enugu-based side one step closer to the title and secure a coveted spot in the CAF Confederation Cup should they win the competition.
Ilechukwu's extension comes at a time of renewed ambition and momentum for the historic club.
