Super Falcons stars Chiwendu Ihezuo and Osinachi Ohale have etched their names in Mexican football history, helping Pachuca clinch the 2024/25 Liga MX Femenil Clausura title, the club's first since its establishment in 2016.
Pachuca secured the championship with a 3-2 aggregate victory over compatriot, Chidinma Okeke's Club América in the final. Despite a 2-0 loss in the second leg, the Tuzas' dominant 3-0 win in the first leg proved decisive. Ihezuo was a standout performer throughout the campaign.
The Nigerian forward delivered one of the season’s most memorable performances in the semifinal second leg against Monterrey, netting a sensational hat-trick in a 4-1 win that propelled Pachuca into the final. She wrapped up an impressive season with 15 goals across 39 appearances, playing a key role in Pachuca’s title-winning run.
