Flamingos intensify preparations in Morocco ahead of FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup
Nigeria’s U-17 women’s national team, the Flamingos, have intensified their preparations in Casablanca, Morocco, ahead of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
The Nigerian youngsters are undergoing an intensive training programme as the technical crew works to sharpen the squad’s fitness, coordination and tactical organisation ahead of the global tournament.
The training sessions are also focused on improving team cohesion and ensuring the players are physically and mentally prepared for the challenges of competing against some of the world’s best young teams.
As part of their build-up, the Flamingos have also embarked on a group walk around Casablanca, combining their on-field activities with efforts to help the players adjust to their surroundings.
With the competition approaching, the coaching staff is expected to continue fine-tuning the team’s tactics and overall performance in a bid to ensure the squad is ready for the tournament.
The Flamingos will be aiming to translate their preparations in Morocco into strong performances on the global stage as they seek to make Nigeria proud at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
