Katsina United bolster attack with capture of ‘Abdul Attacker’
Katsina United have strengthened their attacking options ahead of the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season with the signing of Abdulmajid Aminu, popularly known as “Abdul Attacker.”
The former Kano Pillars forward joins the Katsina-based side from Barau FC, having impressed during his spell with the club.
His arrival is expected to add further firepower to Katsina United’s frontline as they prepare for the new NPFL campaign.
Abdulmajid previously featured for Eswatini side Moneni Pirates before returning to Nigeria, where he linked up with Barau FC.
His latest move to Katsina United represents another step in his career as he looks to establish himself at the top level of Nigerian football.
The attacker has already offered a glimpse of what he can bring to his new club, finding the net during pre season. He converted an assist from Abubakar Abdullahi to give Katsina United a 1–0 lead against WOMBEYE in an international friendly.
