Lagos to host decisive NNL Super 4 draw

The race for supremacy in the Nigeria National League enters its final stretch as organisers confirm April 24, 2026, for the Super 4 playoffs draw.

The ceremony will take place at the Marriott Hotel Ikeja, setting the tone for a high stakes conclusion to an electrifying season.

Scheduled to run from May 1 to May 8 at the Remo Stars Stadium, the Super 4 tournament will determine the league’s overall champion, bringing together the best-performing teams from both conferences.

Three clubs Doma FC, Inter Lagos, and Sporting Lagos have already sealed promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League, rewarding their consistency and dominance throughout the campaign.

However, the spotlight now shifts to the remaining promotion slot and the final lineup for the Super 4.

In the Southern Conference, Sporting Lagos and Inter Lagos have locked down their places in the elite division and will now chase Super 4 glory.

Up north, the battle remains intense, with Ranchers Bees popularly known as the Sadiq Umar boys still in contention but facing serious pressure from Jigawa Golden Stars as the qualification race goes down to the wire.

This season of the NNL has stood out for its competitiveness and structural improvements, driven by enhanced officiating standards, broader media exposure, and better player welfare initiatives. Backed by investment from Toptier Sports Management, the league has witnessed a notable rise in quality and organization.

With anticipation building ahead of the draw, Nigerian football fans are bracing for a defining chapter one that will crown the season’s best and complete the journey to top flight football.
