The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has commenced the construction of a state-of-the-art 200-room residential facility in Abuja, marking a significant step toward enhancing football administration and logistics in the country.

Located within the Moshood Abiola National Stadium complex, the project is designed to provide accommodation for national teams, officials, and visiting delegations, ultimately reducing the Federation’s reliance on external hotel bookings. 

It will also serve as a hub for football-related events, training programs, and administrative activities.

An NFF official, speaking on the development, described the project as a strategic investment in Nigerian football. “This facility will not only improve efficiency but also help us cut costs in the long run. It is part of our broader plan to create a self-sustaining football ecosystem,” the official stated.

With construction expected to be completed within six months, the NFF is optimistic that the facility will set a new benchmark for football administration in Nigeria.
