NSC DG Bukola Olopade expresses shock at Nigeria Taekwondo Federation President's demise
The National Sports Commission's Director General, Hon. Bukola Olopade, is shocked by Abdullahi Saidu's death. Saidu was the President of the Nigeria Taekwondo Federation.
The DG stated that the Taekwondo boss's death is a major loss. It affects both the Taekwondo family and the wider sports sector.
"Alhaji Saidu was a very skilled sports administrator", the DG said. "He was a passionate sportsman". Saidu greatly helped Taekwondo grow in Nigeria.
"This is a sad day for our sports", the DG emphasised. "Alhaji Abdullahi Saidu will be deeply missed by the Sports Commission". The DG added, "Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time".
Alhaji Abdulahi Saidu was an excellent administrator. He showed strong leadership in managing the nation's Taekwondo affairs. His absence will be felt greatly.
