The National Sports Commission (NSC) has formally announced the constitution of the Electoral Committee that will oversee the forthcoming National Sports Federations Elections.

In line with its mandate to uphold fairness, transparency, and accountability, the NSC has entrusted the Committee with the responsibility of conducting credible elections across all participating sports federations.

The Electoral Committee is composed of the following distinguished members:

1. Dr. Simon Ebhojiaye – Chairman

2. Barr. Samson Ebomhe – Vice Chairman

3. Mr. Lawal Adeoye Waheed – Member

4. Hon. Tunde Popoola – Member

5. Barr. Maryam Orotope Paul – Member

6. Mr. Farouk Yelima – Member

7. Mrs. Rita Mosindi – Secretary

The Committee will be responsible for announcing the election timetable and supervising all processes leading to, and including, the conduct of the elections.

Reaffirming its commitment, the NSC assured stakeholders and the public of the integrity, fairness, and transparency of the electoral process.

“This exercise is a critical step in strengthening our sports governance structures. We call on all stakeholders within the sports community to extend their full support and cooperation to the Committee in carrying out this important national assignment,” the Commission stated.
