The Nigeria Women's Football (NWF) Awards has announced Adamawa Queens sensation, Afensimi Omon, as the recipient of the ProStar Sports & First Mahi Player of the Week award. 

The recognition comes on the heels of Afensimi's breathtaking performance on match day three of the NWFL Premiership.

In a thrilling encounter against former NWFL Premiership Champions, Delta Queens, Afensimi stole the show with a stunning hat-trick at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Gombe.
