Nigeria’s Oluwakemi Adegbuyi is firmly in contention for the 2026 WAFU-B U-17 Girls Cup top scorer award, having scored three goals so far.

 Adegbuyi is currently second in the scoring chart, one goal behind Ghana’s Seidatu Wahab, who leads the race with four goals.

 Three other players have also scored three goals each: Côte d’Ivoire’s Appoh Reine Esther and Gnadou Grace Olga, as well as Ghana’s Gloria Adomako.

 With the final matches of the competition scheduled for Sunday, the battle for the championship is not the only contest set to be decided, as the Golden Boot race remains wide open.
