Nigeria veteran forward Asisat Oshoala has been named in the Team of the Week for the second round of the 2026/27 Saudi Women’s Premier League after an outstanding display for Al-Hilal.

 Oshoala played a starring role in Al-Hilal’s emphatic 9-0 victory over Al-Ahli on September 18, scoring twice and providing four assists in a remarkable individual performance. The Super Falcons forward was directly involved in six of her side’s nine goals.

 She was particularly influential in the opening half, setting up four goals as Al-Hilal quickly took control of the contest. Oshoala then added her name to the scoresheet by scoring Al-Hilal’s fifth goal before finding the net again after the break to complete her brace.

 The convincing victory provided a strong response from Al-Hilal following their 3-1 defeat to Al-Ittihad in their opening league fixture. The result also secured the Riyadh-based club’s first three points of the new campaign.

 Oshoala’s selection in the Team of the Week recognises her decisive contribution to Al-Hilal’s second-round triumph and underlines the Nigerian forward’s early influence in the 2026/27 Saudi Women’s Premier League.
