PROFEMATEUR 7 National Women's Football Competition kicks off 10th anniversary edition in style

The 10th edition of the PROFEMATEUR 7 National Women Football Competition officially kicked off on Sunday, October 26, 2025, marking a decade of celebrating Nigerian women’s football excellence.

Organized by the Royaltoms International Football Academy, PROFEMATEUR 7 is an annual tournament created to honour former and current Super Falcons as well as women footballers across the country.

This year’s edition — a 10th anniversary milestone — began on a bright note, with thrilling contests and strong performances across both groups.

In one of the standout fixtures, Judith Chime Queens began their campaign with a 1-0 victory over Onosky Angels, a side led by former Super Falcons captain Onome Eni. Owoyele Idera scored the decisive goal to hand her team all three points.

Reacting to the result, Judith Chime, a former Super Falcons goalkeeper, expressed delight at her team’s winning start, promising a personal financial reward if they go on to lift the 10th anniversary trophy.
