Nigeria table tennis player, Fatimo Bello has picked a ticket for the 2025 ITTF World Cup.

Despite a tough challenge from Tunisia’s rising star Ela Saidi, Bello powered through with a 4-1 win to book her spot in the ITTF Africa Cup semifinals.

With the result, she also secured a ticket to the World Cup in Macao.

Meanwhile, another Nigerian player, Kuti Matthew, beat Bourass Aboubaker 3-0 in the men's singles Round of 16.

Other Nigerians in pole position to qualify for the World Cup at the ongoing ITTF Africa Cup are Aruna Quadri and Olajide Omotayo.
