2027 Election: APC Extends Deadline for Nomination Forms, Screening Dates Announced
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended the timelines for the sale and submission of expression of interest and nomination forms for aspirants ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The development was disclosed in a statement on Monday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.
Revised Timelines Announced
According to the statement, the party adjusted key dates to accommodate its internal processes and aspirants:
“Sale of Forms: Extended to midnight, Wednesday, 6th May 2026.
Submission of Forms: Extended to midnight, Thursday, 7th May 2026.
Screening of Aspirants: Friday, 8th May 2026 – Tuesday, 12th May 2026.
Publication of Screened Aspirants: Wednesday, 13th May 2026.”

The extension provides additional time for aspirants to complete and submit their documentation, as well as prepare for the screening exercise.
