Anthony Okpotu lands two year deal with Al Quwa Al-Jawiya
Former Lobi Stars striker Anthony Okpotu has secured a fresh overseas challenge after completing a two year move to Iraqi Stars League heavyweights Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya SC.
The 32 year old Nigerian forward joins one of Iraq's most decorated clubs as he looks to continue his career in the Middle East ahead of the new league campaign.
Under the terms of the agreement, Okpotu is expected to earn around $7,000 per month throughout the duration of his contract.
The experienced striker, who made his name with Nigeria Premier Football League side Lobi Stars, is expected to strengthen Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya's attacking options as the club targets success in the upcoming Iraqi Stars League season.
