Berackiah International mourns coach Festus Onigbinde
The management and staff of Berackiah International Football Agency have expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Nigerian football legend Festus Adegboye Onigbinde, describing him as a towering figure whose contributions helped shape the development of the game in the country.
In a statement signed by the agency’s Chief Executive Officer, Wonder Nduka Nwigwe, the organisation paid tribute to the late tactician, noting that his lifelong dedication to football left an enduring legacy across generations of players, coaches and administrators.
Onigbinde, widely respected for his tactical intelligence and commitment to discipline and grassroots development, made history as the first indigenous coach of the Nigeria national football team.

Berackiah International extended heartfelt condolences to the late coach’s family, the people of Modakeke, the Osun State community, the Nigeria Football Federation and the wider football fraternity.
