Quadri Liameed stable after scary head injury in Spain

Former Nigeria U-20 midfielder Quadri Liameed is in stable condition after suffering a frightening head injury during a Spanish Segunda League fixture involving his club, CE Sabadell, and Albacete.

The Nigerian midfielder reportedly lost consciousness for about 30 seconds after being struck on the head by an opponent's kick, triggering serious concern among players and officials during the encounter.

However, encouraging medical reports have since emerged, with Liameed now stable and receiving medical attention.

His father, Hajji Gafar, expressed relief over his son's condition, disclosing that the midfielder is expected to undergo a Buffalo Concussion Bike Test (BCBT) within the next 48 hours.

"My son is now in a stable condition and is expected to undergo a Buffalo Concussion Bike Test (BCBT) within the next 48 hours. The Spanish medical team attending to him gave me some encouraging news yesterday, and I am relieved and grateful," Gafar said.
