Proposed groupings released for 2026/27 Nigeria National League season
The proposed groupings for the 2026/27 Nigeria National League (NNL) season have emerged, with participating clubs divided into four conferences.
Conference A comprises Remo Stars FC, Edel FC, Godswill Akpabio United FC, Eko United FC, Stormers SC, Heartland FC, Crown FC, Sunshine Stars FC and OYC FC.
Conference B features Beyond Limits FA, Solution FC, Akwa United FC, Smart City FC, Abakaliki FC, Right2Win FC, Dokka Khairu FC, Ekiti United FC and Bayelsa United FC.
Conference C has El-Kanemi Warriors FC, DMD FC, FC Basira, Neurospark FC, Kebbi United FC, Adamawa United FC, Jigawa Golden Stars FC and Damburan FC.
Meanwhile, Conference D includes Yobe Desert Stars FC, Wikki Tourists FC, Lobi Stars FC, ABS FC, Sokoto United FC, Bichi First FC, Kada Warriors FC and a slot listed as Mighty Jets Feeders/Bida Lions FC.
The proposed structure is expected to form the basis for the organisation of the upcoming NNL campaign, subject to official confirmation by the league organisers.
